This one’s a big day out and not for the faint-hearted, but if you want to see Loch Ness and the Highlands in a single day, it’s absolutely worth it.

We’ll leave Edinburgh early and head north through some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, passing through the heart of the Highlands with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos, short walks, and to take it all in.

We travel through Glencoe, one of the most iconic landscapes in Scotland, before continuing past Fort William and along the shores of Loch Ness.

We’ll stop in Fort Augustus, where you’ll have time to explore, grab some lunch, and even take an optional one hour boat trip out onto Loch Ness.

This is a 340 mile round trip, so it’s a long day, but one that gives you a proper taste of the Highlands.

For those wanting to go even further, we can include a stop at Glenfinnan Viaduct. This adds around 30 miles and extra time to the day and is available at an additional cost.
